Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has announced he would build
five hospitals in his homeland Ivory Coast to cater for children and
women’s health.
The announcement was made by the secretary of his Didier Drogba Foundation, Guy Roland Tanoh, in Abidjan early this week.
Tanoh said 2.5 billion CFA francs ($5 million) would be invested in
the projects, with one facility to be built in each of the five major
cities of the West African country namely Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Man,
Korhogo and San Pedro.
